About Us

History

Logos TV is a Coptic Orthodox Christian channel that began broadcasting via satellite from Los Angeles in July 2017 under the auspices of His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion of the Diocese of Los Angeles. Prior to the establishment of Coptic channels in the Diaspora, Fr. Bishoy Aziz had presented programs on various Christian channels. Later, he reached an agreement with His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion to create a Coptic Orthodox channel for those living in the Diaspora.

By the grace of God and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, Logos TV launched as the first Coptic channel broadcast from outside Egypt under the supervision of Fr. Bishoy Aziz. We thank God for His support through all the stages of the channel’s growth and its widespread reach in many countries, especially among Arabic-speaking audiences.

We have also begun broadcasting Logos TV in English, aiming to serve youth and children in countries where English is the primary language.

Mission and Goals

To ensure a clear mission for the channel, the four objectives of Logos TV are as follows:
  1. Preaching

  2. Education

  3. Healing

  4. Advocacy

The content of most programs revolves around these four objectives. The channel’s motto is to “present everyone fully mature in Christ,” inspired by the Apostle Paul’s Epistle to the Colossians:

“He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ.” (Colossians 1:28)

This verse encapsulates all four objectives of Logos TV:

  • “He is the one we proclaim” = Preaching Christ = Preaching
  • “admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom” = Education
  • “that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ” = Healing (spiritual, emotional, and physical)
  • The “fully mature in Christ” also stands for truth and defends the rights of the oppressed and marginalized = Advocacy

We ask for your prayers that the Lord may use Logos TV for the salvation of many and to draw numerous souls closer to Christ.
